This aint good dude.

I mean... YOU play the map and YOU show us how to complete this map.
As soon as YOU can play and win this map..... then we talk further
Thats how i make maps.
You just went crazy putting in as much monsters you possibly could.
This map can only be won by using extreme powerful weapons... and at least a seven times more ammount of ammo.
There is well enough ammo and health. Use the cyberdemons if need :) they can kill most of the monsters if you play well

Can you record video of yourself completing the level?

I've already completed this map.

Only the mid revenants are actually difficult, but if you can get away cyberdemons will help a lot.

Then record one of your attempts.

This could be a help for you, when you create a map.
Unless you want to have an unbeatable map.

"Completing."

Well, you lasted quite a while before eventually succumbing to the rocket spam of the Cyberdemons you consciously put there.

I tried it. My answer is no.
The architecture is very basic, and you're still putting a ton of monsters everywhere. Here is a tip.
Stop trying to make slaughtermaps. Pick a different genre.

Slaughtermaps require some very precise positioning and balance to be completed and found to be fun. At the moment you have neither of those senses.
Try just making maps. Don't put any objects in them. Just make maps. Get a feel of the editor. Get a feel of how you want your levels to flow. Keep going until you feel your planning is going well. Post images, ask for criticism.
See what people have in mind or want to tell you about it.

My answer is also no.
I need a real extreme big gun, you know... some big gun even more stronger than the BFG9000 or the BFG10K....
Otherwise i will go to use my Instant Monster Killer (IMK) powerup.

I tried a second time, without Skulltag's weapons... but again, its a big NO.

Anyways.... i used my IMK...
Spoiler: Yes i know... IMK is not fair either...
Yes, its that pink round bobbing Romero-face in the corner.

And this is what you will receive in responce when you make an impossible-to-complete map.
People WILL seek balance.... somehow.....somewhere

My IMK is ONE of these balances.... ...it makes the impossible...possible.

I'm working on a map that is supposed to be educational for ztktx. I'm curious what I can do with stock textures, vanilla weapons and gameplay, UDMF and ZDoom. I want to recreate ztktx's killfest but make it more strategic and playable. I'm trying my skills at making a seamless atmosphere. Oh, and there's gonna be less Revenants. Too much agitation. This map also helps me test some stuff I've always wanted to test but didn't find the time for, so you could say I'm killing two birds with one stone.

I will probably release the map in this thread and if people find it interesting, I might make a dedicated thread for better visibility.

Current mapping time: 5h 30m.
Percent complete: 50%

Why am I bothering? Two reasons, actually.
1) I wanted to map a little and found a good reason.
2) I want to show ztktx that he can make good maps in a reasonable amount of time. I'm using slopes and such, which aren't necessary, but they help for a non-blocky environment. There are also two scripts, but they're very basic. Although I do have a feeling that there will be exactly zero improvement on his side, so I guess I'm doing it more for myself.
