Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.

also by looking it's size, it would be work a lot for additional wolf3d mac version sprite, nice work!

Anyone have a noose sprite? Like one that would hang on the ceiling?

Thanks, I will probably use the enemy sprites from Blake Stone AoG(And maybe some from Planet Strike too). I still, kind of need some hud weapons.(Both Blake Stones's are too low res.)

this is gonna be weird but, why is it that theres really not that many PoC/colored sprites at all out there?

Doom doesn't have too many colours that would work for that as far as I can tell. I certainly haven't found any combinations of colours that yield satisfying results.
As for mods for other things like hexen or strife, it may just be that there's less interest in them, so PoC/coloured sprites for them would be less likely to be made.

That sadly doesn't explain why there are no projects using true-color sprites for it. The closest thing I am aware of at the moment, aside from a few scattered player/enemy sprites (mostly just racist stuff and zombies, :roll: ) is a sprite set I posted in the hands resource thread. (see "Dawn of the Dead style hands")

Would someone please manage to rip the HUD from the 32X prototype of Doom? There's some screens floating around but I would prefer the clean graphic itself

I loaded it up in an emulator, took a screenshot, then copied the PC HUD over the 32x version. I applied the palette from the 32x image and it looks... close-ish. I only copied the PC background over the numbers, the rest is the original 32x HUD.
