Well, at least you kept good records. I always did wonder what the brainstorming sessions for this project were like. Now I know... probably more than I ever wanted to know.

For every idea that made it in, probably 10 didn't. Other failed ideas I'm finding mentions of:
  • A Skulltag-style spread gun
  • Health vampirism
  • Player-is-on-fire reel
  • The Persuadertron from Syndicate
  • Akimbo weapons
  • Iron-sights weapons
  • Salvaging assets from Bitman Zeta
  • Bullet Sponge enemies (very high health)
  • Multi-actor bosses like Honk-Honk the Vengeful Semi-Truck
  • Mobile turret items
  • Inanimate object enemies
  • Water weapons
  • Giant robot boss (actually can be seen on an old teaser Kins posted)
  • Adding the Wolf3D rocket launcher from the Mac version
  • Farm animal enemies
