Hello everybody, welcome to this topic for this new wad.
The following pk3 file's name is HvRv1b4.pk3 Note: At this moment will be b4 because is the one released, when the beta 5, beta 6, beta 7, etc... is launched for online servers then this topic will be edited changing beta or any thing added / removed.
This wad consists in a TLMS gamemode where will be 2 teams:
Spoiler: Hunters
Hunters: This team will be in right and left sides of a long map. They are supposed to train their aiming skills in the runners, also in some maps they can be in towers, or in just one way. They will not be so speed, and their health will be only 5, (depends of the class) because like that, game goes more balanced.
To win they must kill all runners.
Classes & Weapons:
-Old Foreman:
Health: 5
Speed: 0.3
Weapons:
- Sniper: Used for long distances. Not very powerful, but very useful. It has got a scope, so you can aim closer with ''Secondary Fire''. Infinite shots.
-Shotgun: Used for short distances. Not very powerful, but his atacks in row can be. Only 6 shots.
-Railgun: A powerful weapon that sometimes kills in first shot, very nice for short / long distances. Only 5 shots.
-Traps: Traslucent traps that can be planted in the field to kill the runners. It can be also used like a weapon if you shot a trap and hit a runner with it.
Only 3 traps.
-Raged General:
Health: 5
Speed: 0.3
Weapons:
- Sniper: Used for long distances. Not very powerful, but very useful. It has got a scope, so you can aim closer with ''Secondary Fire''. Infinite shots.
-Shotgun: Used for short distances. Not very powerful, but his atacks in row can be. Only 6 shots.
-Grenade Launcher: A nice weapon if theres a lot of runners coming close. Only 3 shots.
-Traps: Traslucent traps that can be planted in the field to kill the runners. It can be also used like a weapon if you shot a trap and hit a runner with it.
Only 3 traps.
-Major Disaster:
Health: 70
Speed: 0.5
Weapons:

Runners: This team is a group of people rapted to work for superior people. They will be in the middle field, and they must run to the end of map and press a switch that will summon a Sniper, or blow up the field of hunters and win.

Speed: 0.9

-Rocks: Most basic weapon ever, just pick, and launch! Those rocks are used to destroy the hunters' traps. That will help if theres a bunch of traps that makes you go crazy thinking from where continue. Only 5 shots.
-Tortured Chef:
Health: 180
Speed: 0.7
Weapons:

-Pirate Postman:

Note: The looking of wad can be bad, but that doesn't mean the gameplay is bad too.

xSnake, for his nice Zombie Mod: It motivated me to make this project when I saw running were funny.

There needs to be more diversity between the classes. All three "hunters" have a sniper rifle, and two of them are EXACTLY THE SAME except that one has a railgun and the other has a grenade launcher. The runners are all the same except for health/speed (and one of them has less ammo).
Each class should have a distinct ADVANTAGE, not merely be lacking a weakness that the others have. IE it should be more like a choice between "normal speed/health + extra weapons" and "low health + mediocre weapons + high speed" etc., NOT "low speed + a mediocre weapon with 6 shots" and "slightly higher speed which is still slower than the entire enemy team with no actual bonuses" for the hunters, and the runners should have a choice other than "slug with high health" and "normal speed guy with low health" (also, I can tell you right now that the Chef is WORTHLESS. The entire enemy team has sniper rifles, so moving slowly will just make you an easy target, even with 50 extra health. The General is useless too; His "specialty" weapon has a limited range, and all the runners are at least TWICE as fast as him. The only time you will ever be in range for it is if the runners are stupid or the map is blatantly in favor of the hunters anyway.) tl;dr version
The choices shouldn't be "blind, deaf, or mute?", but rather "The Hulk, The Flash, or Batman?".

Well you may be in the truth, i agree, that needs more diversity.
Also i can make the General's grenades more bouncy so it can get more runners, including groups of them.
I think i will change his shotgun and make a chaingun with 30 shells.
Also to balance some more, i will add a FlashBang (Flash grenade) for slaves, for tortured chef i think is good how is it at this moment, and pirate postman... well, is very balanced, his speed is insane, but he pays with less weapon and less health.
Anyway, i'll try to modify it as you like, nice ideas btw, and thanks =)
Ah btw, this looks only a 10% like hide'n seek, is very different. I already got many messages saying that this wad will be a copy of hide and seek, but no... is a bit wrong ;D

Ethril, I quite agree. I think that the chef should have some kind of special ability (some kind of hologram/fake runner to trick the hunters maybe...) to offset the fact that he is a useless fatso =p. However it's HellRear's decision in the end...
