Batch Palette Conversion?
Batch Palette Conversion?
Do you guys know of a program that can do palette (closest color matching) conversions on a list of graphic files, like similar to what Paint Shop Pro can do but with a larger amount of files, so I don't have to do them one at a time?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Oh! they've put that back into PSP? I only have PSP 7. I think there used to be a reasonable batch function in a really old version (2.0 I think).
Since then, I've been using a program called image robot. It's really good, but expensive - and the demo version is limited to something like 5 files at a time. Image robot is also by JASC (the PSP people) and can perform every function that PSP can, but can do so as part of a series of commands in a batch. So, you could set up a macro to resize all your graphics, re-palette them, mirror them and anything else you wanted to do with just a few clicks. The full version handles hundreds of files in one go. Very useful when doing things like recolouring a series of sprites or something. Mind you, if PSP now has something similar, that's even better. I'm surprised that JASC has effectively made one of its products redundant though.
