I think, though I could well be wrong, that swshot2 would consider it's "shooter" to be the sweepshot, and not the player, and hence will still hurt the player when tagged DONTHURTSHOOTER. But like I said, I could be incorrect.

An idea that you could try if all else fails is set swshot2 damage to 0. On death have it spawn a zero speed, -Block, invisible actor that is tagged as friendly, exists for a short moment only, and has a custom melee attack available to it with damage similar to what swshot was going to do, this should result in it only attacking your enemies, and not the player. It sounds a tad complex, but it should work.

@Froon - Your were right, DONTHURTSHOOTER does not work. I might have to use your idea although I really hope I don't

Glad to see all the weapon submissions we've been getting lately. Soon I myself will be forced to actually do some work on the WRW and release a new version.

1.5/5 ST Bots for the Scatterbomber. Unoriginal sprites, primary and secondary fires which don't even differ, and the fact you can't even shoot it in low hallways (or that it causes huge lag when it does) garners this a low score.

Here's another weapon, well its actually two weapons. They're dual magnums, pick up one , and its just a normal magnum, pick up a second one, and double magnums. :D

Yup, that was more of the type of rating I was looking for. I agree, my weapon sucks :P

Graphics aren't exactly my strong point, hence why I've simply recolored the rocket launcher.

Maybe I'll attempt some more effort into my next weapon... whenever that may be...

Yet ANOTHER entry from me....

M-16 Assault Rifle! (not like those ones from a while back, this one is worth note :P)

Heh, I like people who can take criticism. :) Unfortunately, your weapon came at a bad time when I thought I was going too easy on judging and decided to start rating future submissions harder, starting with yours.

And it's good to see another weapon from you, Inuyasha. I'll rate it tomorrow. Answering your previous question, I'd probably be arsed to start making my own weapons if I had the sprites to do it, seeing as I don't like ripping.
