I found the modding article you guys did on the Reelism page, so I hope to make contributions sometime soon...
By the way... have you guys considered making this project into a standalone game? It would make for something awesome...
This was asked many months ago - the outcome, if I remember, was that going standalone would require the removal of all the cameo reels (generally enemies, but a lot of weapons as well) in order not to upset the copyright gods, who would be much more likely to pounce upon the project if it were playable without being a mod of an existing game. Considering that's about 75% of the mod that needs replacing in that instance, that's effort nobody particularly wants to make.DoomKrakken wrote:By the way... have you guys considered making this project into a standalone game? Not particularly - a lot of the jank we got away with as a hobby mod project would not be as easily forgiven in our own game.DoomKrakken wrote:By the way... have you guys considered making this project into a standalone game? It would make for something awesome...
Would you please stop bumping threads with one-sentence replies that don't make any sense?undeadmonk354 wrote:the cowboys are homeless without the wild west...

They make sense to me, but I don't know that it makes it any better: just going by the replies in this thread, he's constantly requesting people make stuff instead of learning to make it himself.wildweasel wrote:Would you please stop bumping threads with one-sentence replies that don't make any sense?undeadmonk354 wrote:the cowboys are homeless without the wild west...

FUNFACT: Reelism is a sequel/remake of Kinsie's previous mod, "Night of the Homeless".undeadmonk354 wrote:the cowboys are homeless without the wild west...
Spoiler: Wanna see how I fixed it?
I just played a few rounds on a few maps and did not see this problem. Could I please have more information?Wiw wrote:Sometimes the music doesn't play. Just never. It never plays. It might be something to do with the current GZDoom version, but I thought I should mention it.
