This is more a question than an actual request. I'm just curious if (realistically speaking) something like this could be added to GZDoom or if it would be too much of a hassle to even try (I don't know anything about coding and programming).
Raze have these two features under Display Settings>Render Settings called "Palette Emulation" and "Palette Interpolation". Palette Emulation makes everything look like it's software render with the banded light/fog, 8 bit colors and so on. Palette Interpolation blends everything together (I think) while preserving the colors. I don't know how it works but I think it looks amazing because It looks like a software renderer but smooth, so you get something that resembles the original look of the game but with all the benefits of a hardware renderer, it's pretty cool if you care about this stuff.
Is a feature like this possible for GZDoom?

Re: Palette Emulation and Palette Interpolation
GZDoom already has such "Palette Emulation" feature in "Display Options - Hardware Renderer - Postprocessing - Tonemap Mode". No "Palette Interpolation" so far though.
Though i prefer to use Reshade/VKBasalt with my own LUT for such purposes.
