As it implies, what was the earliest use of profanity in a console or PC game?
My own guess is Rambo on the NES where some early revisions had the word "hell" in the mission objective dialogue.
The earliest cuss word (or words) in a console/PC game

The original Castle Wolfenstein (1981) had some German curse words in it, that were voice recordings. That might be the first in the sense that it was the first to have audible cursing.

Speaking of AVGN, there's this moment in Rambo for NES. It's just "Get the hell out.", which I'm not sure if qualifies as swearing, but then again, what the fuk do I know?
