Video from the manufacturer's channel.
Looks completely unnecessary... but still kinda cool.

Actually, I think this one is closer in firepower to Delta 12:
Fires 100 20mm armour-piercing incendiary rounds per second. These guns are mounted on USAF fighter aircraft.
(do not mind the black&white footage, the gun is still in service, since the 60's)

Yes, but Space Marines can hardly be expected to carry it around...

Re: New Doom Chain Gun Design
Yes, M61A2 weighs double the D12 (92 kg compared to 45 kg), but considering that Doom Slayer is outfitted in an exoskeleton of unmeasured strength, I think he could wield it, only maybe slowed down, like in Gauss Cannon's Siege Mode. M61 would be roughly equivalent to Mobile Turret in DPS, I think.
Or, maybe you meant these guys? They would ditch any of our three puny guns for something like this, I believe

Incidentally, the chaingun is my most used weapon in multiplayer (over 1100 kills). They call it a noob's gun because you can just hose enemies down, but I don't think it's that OP.

Doom Slayer is hardly a normal Space Marine. If you notice, the chaingun is mounted before he decides to just take it. I think the joke is that your modern shooter mentality expected this to be a turret sequence.Galaxy_Stranger wrote:Yes, but Space Marines can hardly be expected to carry it around...
