Take the wad and drag it onto Skulltag.exe. Go to Multiplayer > Offline Skirmish. Select your level, and Game Mode is Deathmatch. Customize it to your tastes, then scroll down to Start Game.

Re: help, how to play on my custom wad deathmatch?
place an illusio pit with a cyber demon in it and it will kill all the cheaters no problem
Re: help, how to play on my custom wad deathmatch?
Surely, if you're hosting a deathmatch, you use the options to decide whether or not to allow cheating? Skulltag, of all ports, should be strong in cheat-preventability, with their tight lips and closed source.
I don't understand Xtyfe's cheat prevention trick, whatever an illusio-pit might be, and however it might pertain to cheating. Will it deal with cheaters and non-cheaters indiscriminately? (Reworded: Was your remark an obvious joke? Or: Is that a real thing you can do?)

Oh, you want to host a server?
Well, that's a significantly different bag of dice, and one I would not suggest you pursue. Hosting a server is complex, difficult, and rife with problems.

Read about multiplayer options here:
http://zdoom.org/wiki/Command_line_para ... er_options
There is also a Networking section in this board
http://forum.zdoom.org/viewforum.php?f=5
where you can find answers to many related questions.
Plus, you and your friend should use the exact same version of ZDoom or GZDoom.

Re: help, how to play on my custom wad deathmatch?
There are many people here who know something about this, but I have one piece of very serious advice to give you:
If at all possible, find some person near you who can come to your computer and help you. And if you find a person who spends time helping you with this, be very patient and very grateful.
Do you know anybody who reads well? It helps if that person is skilled with computers too. If you find somebody who knows about NETWORKING you might have everything you need. (There is a chance that this person is a professional who would normally charge 100$ per hour for his help, so if you find such a person, remember that you're getting something for absolutely nothing, even if you don't get what you want in the end.)

Re: help, how to play on my custom wad deathmatch?
so how i am creating by my self a custom server for skulltag or what else with my custom wad? (i made deathmatch wad)
Re: help, how to play on my custom wad deathmatch?
Does this mean that you have been unsuccessful in finding a nearby person to help you out?
If yes: Keep looking.
If no: Start looking.
For zdoom, this page: [wiki]Multiplayer[/wiki] contains useful information. It contains a few simple commands to host a multiplayer game.
You will need to know roughly what command line means.
Hopefully you and your friend will be connected to a shared local network already. (If not, you'll need networking help, and you'll need it from someone local, not these forums)
You open your command line tool (CMD).
Go to the zdoom folder (using the CD - command).
If yes: Keep looking.
If no: Start looking.

Spoiler: Before you ask
Spoiler: Starting a server
Spoiler: Joining a server - your friend should do thisThe routines for skulltag may be similar, but they are not necessarily the same. I have never tried doing this with skulltag.
Re: help, how to play on my custom wad deathmatch?
