Pretty much as the title says. Whenever I get to a certain point in the game it will crash and send the screen into a jumbled mess, forcing me to restart the computer. When I get it back on the screen has switched to portrait mode for some reason or another.
Can anyone help me with this?

Re: Games Crash and Turns the Screen into Portrait Mode
Depending on the sort of computer you're using, and the graphics driver that is installed (especially on Intel GMA-powered netbooks), there are usually some default keyboard combinations that are set to change the screen rotation. (My Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 netbook, by default, has such a thing bound to Control+Alt+left/right/up/down - this might vary, and in most cases can be changed or disabled.) I would suggest checking your video drivers for such hotkeys - otherwise, could you tell us what sort of computer you're using, which operating system, what sort of graphics hardware and drivers are installed, that sort of thing? I'm currently operating on the assumption that you're on a netbook running some flavor of Windows, but really, it could be darned near anything.

Also, a bit more information on which game/WAD you are playing might be useful. When you say "whenever I get to a certain point in the game" it implies that it always happens at the same point in the game. If so, what point is it?
Re: Games Crash and Turns the Screen into Portrait Mode
Sorry for the lack of information
Computer:
Lenovo Thinkpad X200
Windows 7 32 bit
Intel duo core processor 2.53
intel video drivers
I looked up and found that there were hotkeys, and I disabled them. That was probably the issue all along.
The WAD's were doom ultimate and doom 1. They would crap out at random or when it was about to get really fun.
Thanks again and sorry if this is a repost mods.

Re: Games Crash and Turns the Screen into Portrait Mode
Knowing the version of ZDoom with which the crash happened might be useful, as well.
