[Request] Browning Auto-5 Shotgun

Post by wildweasel »

Can someone make a shotgun edit that resembles the Browning Auto-5 semi-automatic shotgun? Centered only, please. I don't mind if you make it an edit of the Doom shotgun, as long as it's visually distinct from MidoriMan's M1897 Trench Gun edit. This is to replace the sawed-off in Nazis.

Lazy attempt and could use some more work.

Hmm, I might be able to throw something together. I assume since it's not pump-action, it will stay centered the entire time (as opposed to the usual shotgun which has the lifting up and pumping animation)?

Mostly correct; though if you could provide just one "lifted" frame (like SHTGB0) for purposes of the reload animation, that'd be basically all I need.

Quick!

How do you manage to do something like that in such a short space of time?

Not sure! Boredom and free time, I suppose.

That's pretty damn awesome! I'll do a pickup sprite and muzzle flash frames and then it can go into the mod.

The up-scale artifacts are very present, yet. Simply editing the edges will go a long way at eliminating such distortion, since in this case there's not much detail in the middle of the stock anyhow. In other cases, though, the distortion really needs to be manually smoothed out in order to get it to an eye-pleasing state.

It still seems really jagged towards the stock, there are some "notches" along the bottom end. With angles like that, you really have to be careful that the lines appear straight and even - it's a hard thing to describe, honestly.
