I originally got this idea playing zdoomwars on skulltag servers, back before the troll-mafia got a hold of me..

This mod makes all the monsters in doom and skulltag drop ammo for guns (you already start with) that shoots projectiles that turn into THAT monster, on YOUR side!

I've had tons of fun with this mod playing it on doom, but it can be used in conjunction with any mod that only has doom monsters in it, OR with oblige, since the mod
starts you off with every gun from the get-go!

This is one of my older but more successful projects I thought I'd post.. It gives doom a completely new tactical-ish feel, and is guaranteed to revive your love
for the old original game... :)

Seeing as it's an old project (and pretty much fully beta tested and perfected), I am no longer fluent with the DECORATE I put in it word for word, thus I won't be adding on or fixing anything in it.. I'm giving it you as-is.. But don't be scared, this isn't like my monster bag, where you never know what bizarre obviously painful mistake you might run into, THIS is actually something I put a lot of time and effort into making decent..

The only real disadvantage/con is that since you have a gun for EVERY monster, it CAN get confusing trying to switch around using the right one since they all
use the same plasma gun sprite, and if someone wants to add on like a decal of the monster on the gun-sprite to each guns to help make the mod better, do so on your own time and either host it yourself or ask me to re-upload... Otherwise, please just use the weapon name tags option.

I'll check it out in a bit and comment fully on it then. I always did like summoner mods. I may also tweak it so you can tell which plasma rifle spawner is which.

But I did have to state on one thing before that.

Stop saying garbage like this, please. It's just pointless flamebait and it's not even true. There is no organized "troll mafia" here out to get you, for crying out loud. The closest to that would've been Esselfortium. Most of everything I've seen has been legit criticism which you seem to have exploded and overreacted to, frustrating regulars, not "trolling." :\


Edit: Okay, so I've played this now. It's actually not too bad. There's a few weird design choices like flying ammo boxes that turn into chaingunners, but, it does overall do what it set out to do. The only real complaint I can have, besides them all being plasma rifles and looking the same (of course), is that projectiles that summon flying creatures should be limited in how far they go, so that you can actually spawn them in the air.

Not bad overall.

I've seen your last several posts at Skulltag - I am not sure your case is as clear-cut as one side being the trolls and the other side being the victim. That said, though, know that I've been keeping an eye out to make sure the Skulltag situation does not repeat itself.

We now (hopefully) return to the original topic, barring any criticism-related flip-outs.

Wait, that was specifically about his skulltag experience? I retract my statement, since I don't know what happened there. Still, I'd really advise against saying such things. It doesn't help anything.

THAT was how I chose to help identify which gun you had.. It was kind of the only thing I could do at the time with my limited experience.. ^^''

Chaingun ammo turning into chaingunner, imp ball turning into imp, armor bonus turning into demon, red armor bonus turning into blood demon, ect.

That's what I figured the case was, but still doesn't make it any less weird. :P Considering what you had to work with, it's not a bad idea, actually.

Note that i'm not saying it's bad. It's just...weird!
