[Request] Glass shard sprites?

I'm looking for some plain glass shards with a decent resolution. That is, not the Strife shards. :lol: Does anyone have any/could make some/know of any games with some good ones?

How large should they be? If small, then probably you can draw them yourself.

I... Do not have HacX handy and don't necessarily want to download such a big file right now. :lol:

Also, given my artistic talent (or lack thereof) I don't think I could draw them myself at all.

Well, if you intend to make them smallish like 8x8 pixels, you only get 64 to work with. Alternatively is to have the glass texture and tear it into pieces (isolate shards of it), then give them shadows or something so they seem to have depth. A protip is not to use Windows Paint, because it's by now really really cumbersome to switch colors (even though it looks cooler than the XP version, it's actually dumber).

Well I use Paint.net, but I seriously am a total dipshit when it comes to making anything. I can edit the hell out of things but when it comes to making stuff... :nope:

hexen has shard sprites. There at the end of the sprites I think, the tiny pixel ones.

I made the background transparent in this one.

I wasn't sure how hi-res you wanted them, so I left them fairly hi-res, you should be able to scale them down.

They are customized, I havent had time to check how they look in Doom though.
