the monsters include arachnotron,imp,revenant,mancubus,archvile,cacodemon,lostsoul,demon, poltergeist,hellbaron and zombie

iv changed this mod to a monster deathmatch type map
in this mod u get to play as your favorite monster from doom or a monster if u dont have a favorite

each monster is unique from the others (hp ,armor ,abilities(weapons),speed)

bosses wont be included because of course they are overpowered and underpowering them would be kind of stupid

as of right now the arachnotron is the only finished class the arachnotron has 3 abilities one is his plasmagun second is a aoe mindblast attack(short range) and third he can create a psychic shield around himself absorbing 75% of damage taken 300 max shield the arachnotron is the 2nd slowest class
mancubus being the first to use his weapons the arachnotron has 100 energy and when hes not attacking it slowly recharges

each monster will have a differant energy type (like the cacodemon energy is rage which increases when he uses his weakest attack but useing more damaging abilities taxes him of his rage

if anyone has any suggestions about monster abilities energy(and energy gain) let me know and if it gets into the mod ull get credit =]
also any monster weapon graphics like demon hands n such that you would like to donate would be welcomed and appreciated else ill have to make them from scratch(should be fun..)
the archvile is complete more below mod is 96% done

Yep,and there's nothing wrong on the new plasmagun...but,the red projectile for it doesn't fit very well. :o

Yeah, maybe the projectiles should be a light blue. Or make the energy in the gun turn red while it fires? The gun itself probably should be made to have a tiny bit less depth to it, it looks a bit stretched.

Anyway, this is looking pretty good. I've always kind of liked hell maps (Although I can't make them worth a damn.)

If I come across any shield sounds, I'll send them your way.

due to lack of community interest iv desided to put this project aside and work on a singleplayer project however imma pick this project up later after it is done

iv desided to work on this again 2 more monsters added lost soul and mancubus

lost souls energy recharges when hes moving and not attacking lostsoul only has 90 hp however whenever he attacks he gains a type of armor that absorbs 99% of the damage taken by the lost soul goes up to 400 lostsoul can fly and is fast lostsouls attack is a charge attack

mancubus is very slow but makes up for this with his mass hp which is 2000 he also regenerates hp too mancubus only has 1 attack which is his spreadfire attack mancubus regenerates his energy when hes not attacking

Hm, so how does that Archvile work? Like it does in actual DOOM, where he has to keep his sights on you or else it doesn't work?

its first attack is kind of like that u gotta keep the target within your crossfire or else they wont get hit

its basically like a super accorate machinegun however each attack of the first weapon attacks about 20 times so yes if your target is within your aim they will take more damage (range isnt unlimited) your attack has to charge up before u use it like the archvile monster does(about 4 seconds) all 20 hits do about 150 damage so it pays to be accorate

So the Archvile class has it's own attack and the Diabloist's attack as well?

Cool.

Though, is it's attack a hitscan (A_FireBullets) or a missile? Because if it's a hitscan it should probally be ranged so you can't snipe with it and the flame puff should have the +ALWAYSPUFF flag so that the flame doesn't disappear when your target moves out of your attack.

Just so you know, theres already a mod like this, in its beta testing stages also. I got to play it and its pretty fun. Its called "Demon Deathmatch"
