EDIT: Random screenshot to perk everyone's interest (and also to show the minigun sprite I do NOT want to use)

Note: Angled minigun sprites only please.
Stuff like this needs a good UV map to make it not look like this. I suck at textures too. Maybe if you model it, you could ask someone to texture it for you?Nash wrote:I would've chosen the sprites from wwhc-di if I didn't want angled-only weapons.
Oh well looks like I'll have to model a new one on my own... the modeling part isn't the problem... it's rendering them to look like it's hand-sprited that's difficult because I suck at materials.
(the problem I have with pre-rendered art is the fact that they look very clean and amateur-ish because I don't know how to setup good lighting and materials to make them look photorealistic)
I use FRAPS. There is a trial version that puts a logo on screen IIRC an the length of the video is limited (again IIRC) but it works well enough.Nash wrote:I wish I knew how to record videos so you can see it in motion.
FRAPS will limit video recordings to 30 seconds consecutively. That's not really a problem if all you want is a highlights reel; then you can just use Windows Movie Maker to stitch them together.Enjay wrote:I use FRAPS.
