I'm not sure if I'm back or not (both here and mentally )... RL has taken over (I have a mortgage, a girlfriend and a full time job!) I still make music though .

Sounds like life is treating you well. I've checked the RBJ site a few times whilst you've been away. Any new music to showcase?

If I can't mod for Zdoom anymore I'll just have to figure out how to work in 3D... after all I own a NVidia Gforce 8800 GT . But I do want to start modding for Doom again, so please help me fix this .

You might also want to start looking at GZdoom, if you haven't already. Zdoom with OpenGL goodness (including dynamic lights and models) and 3D floors.

Agreed. I SEEM to recognize the name, but then again, this person could have been gone before I even arrived.

He did the music for ZDCMP (one of my favorite Doom songs) and City of the Damned IIRC and some other stuff I'm sure.

I had to find out what ROTGS was because I missed it (way before I ever got into the Doom communities). It was short, but awesome. A sequel sounds cool!

Yeah, Lexus was, IMO, a valued contributor to the Zdoom community. His music was always a welcome addition to any project but he was no slouch at mapping either. ROTGS stands as one of my favourite mini-projects and, IMO, it's one of the most atmospheric. He also contributed to the ZDCMP and IIRC the start area of KDiZD Z1M5 was mainly his work too.

As a forum contributor, he was prolific and his posts were often useful too (even if his own brand of English grammar was entertaining ).

In short, I really hope you are able to come back here more often than you have been over the last, what?, 2-3 years?

ROTGS was a good wad, as was that little one he did... CoC I think (Chamber of Chaos? Something like that).

And yeah, he did put some into ZDCMP and the ill-fated ZDCMP2 (I basically copied his section of the map as part of E1M2 in ZPack). Probably best known for his music though.

Thing is though, I've not actually seen any hint of his being back yet, so until he announces it himself in a larger way I'll probably be practically unaware (I don't go to any of the development parts of the forum)
