Where do you keep finding all of these chair lady sprites, Scalliano? Or are you making them?

And Beed...too soon man. Should have let the stew simmer a bit more. A part of me really wants to see brony fatalities now.

Well, that was fun. Thanks to Sarge's Ketchup mod for making it easy to stage that shot without having to tear one of the Brutal mods apart or use greenscreening or some crap.

If you want more prankery from yesterday, TheShadsy wrote a review of the original sandbox game.

And I actually do have some WIP stuff floating around, but not nearly to this extent: Mainly a FireSeraphim map that came in too late for And Beyond that's all Gradius-themed, and some reels from Ed that may or may not make an appearance in the future. I haven't resumed serious development yet due to Real Life, and I'm not sure whether to start serious work on the next 300P game/mod instead. Choices, choices...

oh hell, gradius! my favorite non-stop shooting game!
well, candy planet got a few gradius music, but it's more themed about parodius.
i love reelism too. but i'm intrested at new works.
but i'm not gonna tell more. because the choice is depends on 300p teams.

Any plans to integrate the 3D voxel cars from this pack?

Does Reelism even work properly in non-openGL renderers?

Nah, the 3D architecture and skyboxing is too much for the software renderer to handle reasonably. Voxels are beyond my area of experience, but I was under the impression that they work in GL, just not as well as actual 3D models.

Voxels work just as well as actual models in OpenGL. Mostly because they actually are converted into models.

That said, if you have a ton of different voxel models (e.g.: you're loading the entire voxel vehicle pack and going into its demo map), it does slow down map loading a bit while they all get converted to an MD2-like internal format. But once that's done, it's all fine.
