I made this video. I didn't mean that the weapons are a bad job. I made the video thinking about for casual doom and/or old 8-bit game players that, usually, aren't much into technical details. Otherwise, I woudn't bother to record a small video tutorial teaching how to run both mods together. For me, the weapons are supposed to "suck" and be "crappy" so the map gets more challenging (using BD's weapons was pretty fun but easy), so they are perfect in this sense.TheMightyHeracross wrote:He just ran Brutal Doom with it, not a meta-mod.

The custom weapons of Jason's Doom mod just aren't like the guns we love and cherish.
Crappy Jason's Doom weapons
Cool Brutal Doom weapons

I really hate this guy.
Good luck!Valken wrote:I'm going to fire up my poor man's VR right now and try it...
We already have a template to go by, for how the map show go.Kontra Kommando wrote:I was playing this on VR, and it is virtually impossible to beat.
Nevertheless, it was very terrifying...
I wish I had spent more time trying to expand on this mod. Frankly, I forgot a lot when it comes to modding, since I haven't done it in years.
Nevertheless, I would love to see this become something more.
I am throwing it out there, if anyone wants to make a Friday the 13th NES-style game as a FPS, feel free to use this as a base for it.
