I can live with this one for now, thanksUboa wrote:IMX wrote:Would someone please manage to rip the HUD from the 32X prototype of Doom? There's some screens floating around but I would prefer the clean graphic itself
I loaded it up in an emulator, took a screenshot, then copied the PC HUD over the 32x version. I applied the palette from the 32x image and it looks... close-ish. I only copied the PC background over the numbers, the rest is the original 32x HUD.

For comparison.

Does anybody know where I could get something like this, just with an iPad-like thing instead of a clipboard?
I can't really find anything familiar.

I wanted a PDA-like sprite for a mod, but looks as though I have to make one... I'll be back.

I've asked this before, but nobody said no so I'll ask it again. A Simon's Quest/ Super Castlevania IV style Simon Belmont player sprite.

Are there any Demon deaths other than the stock ones and that one where his arm is ripped out of his socket? More specifically I'm looking for more "less-violent" ones.

not to my knowledge but an on-off spriting project of mine was a vesion of this death without the arm coming off. I might give it another go now you've reminded me of it...CeeJay wrote:Are there any Demon deaths other than the stock ones and that one where his arm is ripped out of his socket? Does anyone have any explosion sprites that look like they could fit in 16-bit castlevania?(for nonviolent enemy deaths.)

Re: Resource Request thread *Read 1st post*
the castlevania-ish custom explosion? isn't that hard to do it rather than ripping some of explosion sprites from 16-bit ones or recent ones? sorry for didn't help anything but ripping 'em is easiest also simple thing to do, and can spare some times.

Does anyone know if there is a simple, two-handed sprite of the vanilla pistol?

I have been thinking for a while that the rifle from brutal doom's reload animation doesn't match it's regular centered sprite. The regular centered sprite seems to have a pretty generic rear iron sight, but the reload has a front and rear iron sight that doesn't match the centered sprite. The reload also doesn't match the ADS mode, which I happen to use a lot in brutal doom. I found a correct centered and ADS sprite that seems to fit the reload animation, but it didn't seem to keep the original feel to the brutal doom rifle, and the ADS mode was a little weird. You can find the mod here: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=37889 (great mod overall, I love the chainsaw attack and shoot able corpses).
Here is what I had in mind:

All that I want is to know where you can find reload frames that fits the brutal doom rifle sprite. Can anyone help?
