If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

People still play Pong more than 40 years after it was created, so why not Doom?

You forgot the mutant penguin armies ruling the remnants of a defeated humanity. The day will come, mark my words.

Actually this month is Zdooms 12th anniversary.

From 2003 to 2015? What changed this website & what's going to happen in the next 20 year's?

Happy 12th Anniversary Zdoom!

Zdoom is a little older than that: try 17 years.

Speaking of anniversaries OA will clock 10 years soon. In 20 years, OA will be 30 years old.

For this question want nobody going to no website to look up the answers?

Question: 1

Call me a pessimist but I don't really see a living world in twenty years... Considering how bad it is right now and how exponentially worse it gets.

Too true. I see humanity ending in less than a solid 30, with extreme war and violence fully spread around the 20 mark.

Even with that thought in my head, though... I still can't push myself to make a finished game...

Boy you're all SO pessimistic. Do you seriously believe that the world as it is today will be over in 20 years ? I mean sure, it'll certainly have changed, and maybe not for the worst mind you, but in 20 years it will most likely be approximately the same as it is today. Don't be so grimm :|
It'll have solar pannels and wind turbines, no cars left (hopefully), better internet connexions, maybe even internet will have been replaced with a new sort of network, even better than the internet. That sort of stuff :p
That's what I like to think/hope anyway. I know it's ultra-rose-tinted but I can't possibly imagine humanity as a whole disappearing in the near future. This is possible only in movies. Even with three consecutives global nuclear wars humanity would still exist.
