One suggestion:
Could you implement a highscore-saving-system for each mode for each map in the game? With CVARs, this should be possible.

Having an arcade-style high score table on the title map would be great, but I haven't the slightest clue where to start with that.

I think AFADoomer could help with that... his Wolfenstein TC actually tracks your score and logs it on the cycling title screen, using your player name automatically to boot.

I've been buffing up pre-existing weapon reels a bit where I found them lacking. Some teases of what I've been up to:

Retro Rockets: The Mac weapons are now part of the Wolf3D arsenal! They need a few little tweaks, but you know, they're in.
Blue Magic: The Baron Arm has gotten some animation tweaks and projectile buffs to try and make it "feel" better.
Bullet Hoses: Two new weapons - The Powerslave M60 is present, and has WildWeasel's tracer system from ww-nazis to differentiate it. There's also a "Burst Rifle" for short, controlled bursts.
Crate Shower: The minigun is out of the possible drops list, replaced with the Burst Rifle.
Crapshoot: You've seen the bent homing missile launcher, but I figured I'd mention it again because it's SO GOOD UNGGH. I have something else planned for it, but I haven't started on it yet.
Melee Masters: Two more weapons planned, might happen... kind of hard to differentiate melee weapons since they're mostly insta-kill by necessity.

I also got some more work in on the jackpots - 16-16-16 is no longer for rent...

I still haven't started on new bosses. I have a couple of ideas, but those will require talking to people, and uggggh talking

Do worry Kinsie with the power of friendship you can talk to people and steal their souls to use their content in your mod.

PS: if your planning on adding scalliano's 50 ft woman it can't spawn in JRPGville due to its height

Well, a possibility is to have the attack deal status effects. E.g.:

Persuadotron: monster becomes friendly and will attack other monsters
Sticky bomb: monster will detonate after three seconds
Push comes to shove: monster is blasted away

Dunno, some variety that could nearly make the melee weapons worth actually using.
