If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

I'm normally the kind of person who obsesses over not missing a second of visual media. Getting used to twitch took me a while, it was hard to accept I can't be there for every moment as I've got bare necessities :P

BUT

Musicals are the one and only thing I find myself skipping over. No thank you.

My GPU was overheating for the last 3 days mysteriously with any game i open here, i tried downgrade drivers, tried use DDU and then apply the lastest driver, tried remove it to clean up the dust, nothing worked...

but then i did a simple test, with two fingers i made pressure in the coolers plate against the videocard and tried to open a game, the temperature stood around 70 and coolers around 50%, so as i thought, the heat dissipator wasn't well placed even with the screws being max tightened, so i did this:
Spoiler:
GG, overheat was gone, at another day i will take this videocard to the guy i ordered the pc to fix this problem, until there, this will be the fix.

Played the new episode of Duke3D, Alien World Order.
Basically a waste of time with severe quality control issues everywhere.

The Incinerator flat out broke the game.
The maps were practically user-map level quality, other than Egypt which was actually pretty cool.
The rewind function STOPPED WORKING!
Awful enemy placement.
Mini Boss enemies somehow manage to damage themselves...
Misaligned textures & cropped sprites!

And tbh lets not even get started on the "new" last Boss...

Seriously guys you've fought Lost Souls that are tougher!!!

Yeah i've seen a stream of this last night. just awful

and there's no 'ha ha pitchord are evil!!' personal bias going on here. i'm judging the new episode and voices and the lighting model. just awful and not worth retconning the prior duke3d releases over

it's like "What if Doom3 BFG used Doomsday for the Doom1/2 releases and pulled all of the previous releases out of the store including Final Doom and all references to the shareware Doom?"*

It's a real shame that they didn't even tried to make it more better than fans would have thought. But it could be kinda good for new comers or beginners, but still.

Got my hands on Jagged Alliance 2 for a while... like... years ago.
I'm using Windows 2000 to run this game. Is there a mod? I guess I didn't check it.

I remember going on MM8BDM Servers ... there's a guy called Bass X Roll (Who people ... don't really like ... he's like younger asshole me). There was also Dirt man (Guy I know, he's cool, went by Oilman x Roll once), and I think someone once jokingly went by Tango x Rush (or the other way around). Why do I say this? Because I remember making a joke ship myself ... Megaman x Ray. who's Ray, you might ask? Well, none other that Mighty No. 9's Ray! Yes, that chick. Hey, there's crazier ships in the Megaman fandom.

Soooooo... I'm taking a Game Design & Development class at college this semester...

The game-building software they provided just plain sucks. So, I decided to approach my professor about the issue, saying that I could make a much more effective project by submitting a Doom mod.

He accepted my proposal. :D

I've never built maps prior to this, so I will still be on equal grounds with my classmates (in my opinion)... not to mention, I always wanted to make maps, but just didn't know when to start. This gave me the kickstart I needed.

Screenshots to follow soon. ;)

I went to the ER about a week ago, it turns out the fever I had was just a side effect of a rather nasty kidney infection that spawned a urinary tract infection. I'm on the mend though, so at least that's going well.

I really want to improve my building sense so I'm working on a bunker in Modsauce 2 using Immersive Engineering processors behind glass wall doors that I can unseal from rftools monitors. I've got a good theme going I think, at least it looks and feels more open them the cramped designs I used to build all the time when I first started automating all the things.

It really is starting to bug me when people dismiss a game as bad just because it's similar, Giana Sisters shows that a game can be blatant as hell... and still be good.
