I managed to get legendary weapon Reality Disortion Array, but it does not do anything. It just fires it shot but it seems to do no damage. Is it a joke?

How to dual wield weapons? There is a mentoin of dual wielding on the first page and in description of that exotic doubleshotgun (forgot its name), but it seems that dual wielding is not possible in the game.

I play this mod without any other gameplay mods, I dont use the monster pack or Doom RPG mod. Does this mod fully work on its own or does it require aditional mods? Well it works pretty well, but I feel I am missing something.

IDK, maybe it doesn't work on boss monsters? Try using it some more. Maybe put some mods on it, too! (I recommend Nano. aaagh)

AFAIK there are only a few weapons with dual wielding capability; The aforementioned shotguns (just find another one somewhere and they'll automatically start DWing), a certain pair of pistols, and one assembly for the Uzi.
Oh, and the Nuclear Onslaught, but that's a bit of a special case.

It works perfectly fine on its own, but it's probably best to play it with the monster pack.

Everyone here talked about having a "Dual" assembly back then. I think it's going to be implemented.

it is, i believe. Yholl confirmed that it was gonna be some sort of assembly, with stuff like the Dual Uzis moving to that slot while getting a proper Storm assembly. and for that, all i can say is... dual fricking Hunting Revolvers. every Cyberdemon is gonna die in the next version.

Or better yet, selective dual wielding. Moar use for pistols.

Agree with this, it makes more sense and nano is goddamn rare compared to firestorm

Could just be my bad luck. Of all my playthroughs recently I haven't gotten nano's for some time. Unless the game will mention that the nanomachines built the other pair of the gun you're assembling.

But where does the second gun magically come from?

That's why it's Nano mod. Originally it was actually NF but ahahahahahahahahaa no


Anyway, now that I've recovered from having all my wisdom teeth out, and I've stopped being excessively distracted by Starbound, I'mma go finish up the next DUMP3 weapon build and then start being productive again maybe hopefully.

there totally should be a master assembly involving a type of pistol that turns into some sort of dual-wielding deathmachine. dual-wielding Uzis of death. call them the, uhh, Cleansweeper Razors or something like that.

Pretty sure that, unlike the base mods, Exotic mods have different rarities between each other. Sniper is rarer more common than Firestorm, which is rarer more common than Nano. I had this right but with the wrong words ._.

Being said, part of the reason it has that mod is probably to make it rare. Dual pistols is a powerful thing. Pretty sure a scout with simply two regular pistols can take on most of the game, not even getting into things like the PP7 or (god forbid) the Hunting Revolver.

So making it require a rare mod could balance that more.
