Well, despite the fact that a Legendary monster can be quiiiite dangerous, this mod is not meant to alter monsters directly. Well, technically it does, but you know what I mean.
When I release 7.0 of the DRLA monsterpack, it will work very very well with LegenDoom, I guess you could wait for that.

There is now a slight compatability issue between Colorful Hell and LegenDoom. Not a gamebreaker, but I can't seem to get the options for both Colorful Hell and LegenDoom to show up when I load both of them together.

And this is using the only load order that actually makes the two of them load at all : P

If i've missed something, i'd love to know what it is.

Because menus overwrite each other. It won't be fixed until both our mods update again.

I wish zdoom would just read mod menus completely separate page all together and make it so menudefs wont overwrite and just are loaded separately all together
but thats a long shot for a feature

I was bored after compiling all the DUMP3 weapons.

So I made LegenDoom 1.5 and LegenDoomLite in about 10-20 minutes flat.

- The 1.5 Update with Colourful Hell still overwrites the menu on the options. ( after Legendoom). I don't know what I'll do.

Sorry, looks like you'll have to wait until Colorful Hell updates its options menu with LegenDoom and LegenDoomLite selections. I'd assumed that was already done, my bad.

Seriously, though. In literally anything else, my typical reaction to a legendary monster showing up is something like "Oh! Well, okay then."*
With that? It's more of a "OH SHIT NO FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT FUCK OH GOD KILL IT FUCK". Or a (DSSKESIT). Basically turns the entire game into an endless Nic Cage freakout

It's nerve-crushing and horrifying and it scratched an itch I didn't know needed to be scratched.


*(unless it's a boss or Archvile. Or that time where one of the spectres in the narrow corridor at the beginning of Memento Mori 2's map03 was a legendary Mechtre and I didn't have enough firepower to actually kill it before it backed me into a corner and ate my face so I had to jump over him and run like smeg)

Say, err, what's the ideal version of GZDoom to be using for Legendoom? I tried updating to a more recent version and I get a wall of "ACS: I don't know what $weapontype$weaponmodifier is" messages about every ten seconds. So that'd be like "I don't know what ChaingunHunting is." It still -seems- to work, though.

get the latest stable version of GZDoom, not the latest devbuild. LegenDoom and DRLA has these kinds of oddities in them due to the devbuilds being a bit messy right now
