also the lightning you speak of just happens to be veins, which i am not good at drawing which is why i drew it in the first place until it grew into "okay how ridiculously shiny can this get" to which the answer was "utterly ridiculous"
like i shit you not, i was trying hard to make it look as ridiculously shiny as possible
