I've released a new version with lots of changes (no new maps though):

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/iepat ... ca-0.5.zip

Changes:

- Replaced original rocket weapon with a new rocket I got from realm667, which will help player to be aware of balance changes (30% stronger, ammo limit 15/30)
- Replaced stimpack, medkits, health bonus and armor bonus sprites for new ones (realm667), since they give different values from the original ones.
- Replaced Imp's and Cacodemons monsters to realm667 versions: Players will now be more aware that monsters are stronger now. I need a new Revenant sprite though lol
- Maps now have Hurt Me Pleny difficult setting: Still challeging but without so much pressure. (I would say that UV = Plutonia, and HMP = Doom 2 UV)
- General monsters projectiles (Mancubus, Arach, Imp, Hell Knight, Caco and Rev) were reduced by around 10%.
- Removed autosaves. They only gave problems lol
- Fixed some random bugs lol
- MAP01: Doors that access the final room need to be opened by a switch close to them, instead of just opening with use. This will indicate better for players that they can only open back by another switch.
- MAP04: Fixed blue locked door being opened without a blue key.

Future objetives:

- Move current MAP1 to 2 (and 2 to 3, etc) and create a new MAP1 as a more introduction for the new balance settings.
- Create MAP7 (as big as current 5) and the last MAP8 (probably will be a small final shitty arena)
- Replace Revenant's Sprite for one that indicates better he's stronger.

I've just released a new version! Haha

Link here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ivvfq ... ca-0.7.zip

Changes:

- New Revenant sprite (from Death Incarnation of realm667)
- New Rocket Launcher sprite (old was from grenade launcher which wasn't fitting for players that played skulltag)
- New MAP 01 released. A small introduction for what is to come in this wad. Old MAP 01 is 02, 02 is 03, and so on.
- Removed some remaining auto-saves.
- I've made some small changes on some setpieces, making them a little bit easier (but still very challenging). Focus should be more on skill than luck.

Re: Nevasca: version 0.8 released: Level 7 done! +need playt

Hey guys!

New version with level 7 released!

It's the largest map of the wad, following the same style, and probably the hardest, still, isn't too big and monster count is around 100. Non-linearity still here, you'll probably take around 20 min to finish it 100% (speedrunning in 2-3?).

I'm also using Nevander's Status bar, with some added effects to give a cold feel

Slight increase in projectile speed is no joke. I got aced several times on the first level.

I like the frozen theme, feels peaceful (before I die.)

Somehow the ambiance reminds me of when I first played Hexen. I like that feeling

Cool! After a while you get used to the monsters projectiles. They used to be faster in the first versions, but since it was too much I decided to reduce it.
