Re: Castlevania[Old 1 level demo]
Another good idea would be to give the bosses life bars that look just like the old CV Games. Sadly most of the CV mods I have seen never really went well or are just left completely unfinished. I really hope this mod works out for you, it definitely has my interests peaked.

Might be tricky to pull off, but will you attempt the super castlevania whip "flailing"? By the way, however you made that whip look 3d in the hud looks absolutely amazing.

Re: Castlevania[W(h)IP]
Well, if you took the turning speed and factored that, and had a series of limited lifetime projectiles effected by gravity, to embody the whip (with the last Frame having a "tip" texture) , and give the projectiles higher velocity with more turning speed you could kinda maybe sorta emulate the flailing. Just a thought, not sure how convincing it would look but its an idea. Might be worth giving a shot.
I also hope you get whip grapples, which should be a simple actor with a pain state to turn on a grappling hook effect you can swing on. (i think)

Hey, is it more, or is the whip attack you are using voxel based?
Something about the way its angled it interesting. I was wondering if perhaps that was the case so they was possibility of the whip to actually clip through enemies?
Thats the problem with whips I find; due to it being a ranged weapon of sorts, the angle the rope is when you attack and the collision with the enemy can be a bit finicky.
