  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

So I stumbled upon this during a random google image search;

It's a pretty nifty sprite set and I was wondering if anyone knew who made it.

Can you rehost the image? I can't view it from that side, getting an error 522.

Certainly, I probably should've done that in the first place since I found it on a /vg board lol.

From the overall coloring scheme, I recall that a member here by the name of Globe is the author of this sprite set.

Yup. That was an attempt I made at a zapatista-esque skin. If you use it and want to credit me, Globe or CruX is fine, or don't worry about crediting me at all. Whatever makes you happy.

Groovy! I'll definitely put you in the credits if I can find a nice spot for this sprite in any of my projects. Shouldn't be too hard since it's a pretty damn nice sprite sheet XD.

here's a page in the spriting carnival thread where you can find an aliased version of that and another guy. They look better IMO.

For some reason, I always thought that default weapon they were carrying was a USAS-12 FA Shotgun.
