So I was a guest at someone's house today, and I made some great pizza and had a nice time.
Then it was time to get the first win of the DCSS tournament at someone else's PC that I just conveniently borrowed without prior preparation.
I never got it thanks to shit luck ;_;

I then kept going for two hours after the tournament started and until my wrist was fucking dying. I almost got a new world realtime record, too but only almost.

fun fact: I made about 60000 keypresses during those two hours. That's about 500 per minute for two hours in a row. Asian stereotypes can cry me a river. :^)

Now it's time to recuperate for some days after making <33% of the keypresses through the same, downwards slamming motion of my left wrist.

And for anyone wondering, no this is definitely not a healthy thing for you to do. In fact I doubt it's a healthy thing even for me to do! Don't do this at home! You'll destroy your keyboards, fingers and wrists.

Despite having used MS paint for 18+ years for spriting, I've just accidentally stumbled on the fact that I could hold shift and make perfect circles and squares with the ellipse and rectangle tools, respectively.... WHAT?! :shock: :shock: :shock:

If anyone can find a working link to the GBC/C64-ish "Get them!" remix here... Please let me know.

MSPaint has a lot of undocumented features. Not mentioned in that article, but clicking the 2-3 pixels of space under the 8x zoom gives you 10x zoom.

That's universal with most Microsoft software. It'll do the same thing in Office while drawing. As a result, you'll likely find this in a lot of other non-MS software as well.

Meanwhile, all hail the sheep-ocalypse.

Got up, turned on my computer. "POP" sound, bright spark, power for half the house temporarily knocked out. Somehow managed to resist the urge to go right back to bed.
