Re: [WIP] Cold Hard Cash 2 - Coming together nicely!
Thanks, I will. I see a couple of lines here and there where its a little off. part of doing these little bits of art is to improve my skills, so this is great learning experience for me.

What I meant, Crudux, is that I can't see that thing molding in with any other style/arsenal. It'd stand out way too much.

The newer version (guessing one on the left) is definitely a huge step in the direction of perspective and angle, nice stuff.

Just a small feedback on that gun. The grip is too rectangular, I am no gun expert so I don't know the proper terms, but making the "plates" on the grip come out a bit would help getting the shape you want. I fail to get the proper word for what I meant to say, but in 3D modeling software it'd be "extruding" the grip plate thingies so they have more of a shape.

the grip will change drastically as i shade it, it looks pretty bleak now.

Well now, I don't meant to be a back seat moderator here or anything of the sort...But are you not sort of hijacking the thread? But then again, it isn't my thread or place to say.
Anyway, I like the HUD used in the mod. I knew it looked familiar. And I sure am a sucker for shop systems! (And crafting)
If you require any help with certain sprite work, I'd sure be interested.

Actually, there is a small something I need at some point. I plan on having an upgrade for the Marksman's Battle Rifle that adds a grenade-launcher adapter to the barrel, in a similar fashion to the ones from World War 2 (the M7 launcher, I believe), but I don't have the chunks of sprite needed to do that. I just need the barrel attachment and a sprite for the grenade that gets inserted into it; I can animate it all together using Textures later.Mor'Ladim wrote:If you require any help with certain sprite work, I'd sure be interested.

I know you're not looking for suggestions on new guns, but I do know you were milling about the idea of replacing the dualies upgrade for the Glox. Have you considered simply going with an extended magazine? Longer gunfights between reloads, which is all the dualies really offer now anyway, and it would be a lot less awkward to use, too. The current system of 'click-fire-release-fire' is quite uncomfortable.

I might consider giving it a similar "Law Enforcer" upgrade to ww-terror's Berducci, giving it a long magazine and an alternate 3-round burst option.Ed the Bat wrote:I know you're not looking for suggestions on new guns, but I do know you were milling about the idea of replacing the dualies upgrade for the Glox. I'm a fan of the dualies myself, but a cool transporter esq glock would be cool too. i vote dualies though.

Re: [WIP] Cold Hard Cash 2 - Coming together nicely!
would posting here be considered a necrobump? i think it's really a shame nobody talks about ww mods anymore
i actually had some suggestions (like ideas on text to replace placeholders, and a somewhat snobby suggestion to rename the "black boar hmg" to "black boar gpmg")
