Mod Permission
Am I allowed to use certain monsters in "my" mod from a person where it's almost impossible to get permission from? He hasn't been online for a couple of years.

Check the info text file that usually comes with the mod. If the author is okay with the resources being used, then it will say there. If permission isn't granted, then be courteous and don't use them. If it doesn't say one way or the other, then you're probably fine.
Of course, if this is just for yourself, then no one can really stop you. If you plan on releasing a mod with "stolen" resources, you'll probably get a lot of bad feedback for it. The Doom community is built on mutual respect and goodwill, best not to break it.
