  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?

[Solved] Looking for a low-poly flak 3d model

Post by Tormentor667 »

Does anyone of you have a flak 3d model that looks like this and can be used as MD3/MD2 model in GZDoom?

*EDIT*
Found one similar for free but you have to register to download and it is a 3DS file, which I unfortunately can't open, just in case: http://www.3dvia.com/models/254B8A1B2D3 ... -cannon-38

You could use Noesis to convert the 3DS file to MD2 or MD3.

Two stock 88 models from my flight sim days.

They're obviously untextured (didn't exist at the time), but they're available.
Or, I can do what I do and convert this into a CG model:

[EDIT] I have no need for it myself so I don't know what it's (in)capable of, but 3ds Max has a free version. GMax I think it's called.

Hey LilWhiteMouse, that would be a start, so anything you can share or produce would help a lot - mostly the static ones, no need for the ones on wheels :)

Best I can do, the shape is a bit to obtuse for my skill set.

[EDIT] Forgot to scale down the texture.

I think it'd be best to leave things as is. If you post a request and I have the time/energy/ability/interest I'll take a crack at it.
