For quite some time I ignored the pony stuff...I even used to completely hate it (mostly because of the fanbase; I never even watched the show). I still do not understand the extreme "bronies"; the ones who obsess over ponies in unhealthy disturbing ways. But I realize there are also many perfectly normal fans of MLP.

Well, I guess it's an okay kids' show, and the ponies are kinda cute. I won't call myself a "brony" though (certain parts of the fanbase ruined that term for me).

This was perhaps a rather pointless post, but I just thought I'd throw in my ideas on the whole pony thing.

Doesn't hurt to voice your opinion. Just know that even the normal bronies get annoyed with the extremes.

EDIT: I also find myself listening to Moonrise: A Symphonic Metal Opera . It's amazing. Definitely enjoying myself here.

But this is where I'd ruin the moment by making a pun involving the words "rocking" and "horse" so...

Moonrise is indeed AMAZING, I only wish it was longer with deeper content and more lyrics/story. Apparently someone's working on an animation for the first movement, "Harmony". Looks pretty good so far, except the estimated 1-2 year wait time.

Also I've... started drawing pony art at the behest of my wife.

Sort of. I guess? I don't have any problems with it. Would give people who bought their heart cheaply off of PriceAlert would be raging at the concept of "oh mah gewrd kissing horses". Outside of that, no problems at all.

Also, decent sketch there!
