So Slax, you up for Sprite War 4.8b?
I'll fire the first shots with this here redesigned M0 Garand:

At least now it looks sort of like it was made in the 2430's.

Something for old times:

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
That doesn't make sense. Pickup sprites are far smaller and easier to do, and I've yet to see first person views on guns from you.TheRailgunner wrote:So Slax, you up for Sprite War 4.8b?

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
It would take me a considerably longer time to produce HUD sprites for every pickup sprite I've crapped out...hell, just from POU's project folder, I've got 31 unique pickups, and a further 9 in Helsturm's (no, the pickups aren't necessarily produced for either project). That doesn't include Helsturm-specific pickups, of which there are many variants and redesigns.undead003 wrote:That doesn't make sense. And it makes a lot of sense - the last sprite war Slax and I got into revolved entirely around pickup sprites (speaking of which, I better get on those Holdenson caliber conversion kits...).

Looks great, but is there a version without the fire?Hornetzero wrote:Something for old times:

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The stock has been bothering me since my last post:

The M0 nears completion...
EDIT: I accidentally uploaded one of the sprites with a flash suppressor and it didn't look half bad, so I decided to keep it on both. Then I ended up tweaking the stock again - I've uploaded these sprites four times. Four tiiiiiimes...
EDIT II: Five times. And now, the single-gripped one has been uploaded SIX times due to an errant pencil tool.

You got reload sprites for that beast? I used the older MG-42 set for Project Operation Unthinkable, and this bedrummed sprite would be more consistent with the existing ADS animation (the current idle sprite has no drum).jazzmaster9 wrote:Here's an MG-42 with a drum magazine.

I'll try to make some.TheRailgunner wrote:You got reload sprites for that beast? [EDIT] I made this, it's basically the drum and the gun separated, I also added a handed version of the drum. maybe you can make a reloading animation out of this.
