eduke32 had a much problems, but congrats about it worked.Lava Grunt wrote:After having a long time hassle of trying to get polymer mode to run in EDuke32 (basically enables hi res textures and 3d models, on the highest opengl setting), I took out the main data file (Duke3D Atomic edition's wad in this case being DUKE3D.GRP) and downloaded EDuke32 again, nearly a year later. I don't know what they changed, but polymer is working now and it's running smooth as butter.

I'm not sure about "shit". It'd be neat to see in a game.Ricochet wrote:Well that was interesting. Why do I still have this shit avatar? Google images, to the rescue.

Yeah, Polymer is nice, and runs great for me as well. As with GZDoom, I couldn't care less for most of the "eyecandy", I just like the polygonal 3D and color support.Lava Grunt wrote:After having a long time hassle of trying to get polymer mode to run in EDuke32 (basically enables hi res textures and 3d models, on the highest opengl setting), I took out the main data file (Duke3D Atomic edition's wad in this case being DUKE3D.GRP) and downloaded EDuke32 again, nearly a year later. I have to turn off the dynamic lights thoguh. Last time I updated at least, the lights are too intense and worse, unconfigurable. Plus they make the classic mistake I see in GZDoom mods all the time: The colors are too "pure". Colored lights need to be a bit whitish to avoid washing out the colors of everything else. (Granted, this is kind of a fault with Duke3D's sector palettes to begin with.)

It was a part of my project that failed due to lack of ability to stay determined to do something for more than one week, so whenever I see it, I think "shit".Project Dark Fox wrote:I'm not sure about "shit". Unfortunately only ever a visual glitch, I remember seeing if I could get a thing that was 101% off, and it didn't work.Ghastly_dragon wrote:Spotted this, before they fixed it.

The instant I rig TSAT to Steam, some five people came to talk to me. Two of them, I never spoke to in EONS.
I have no idea how to react to this.
