Hmmm... I wonder if this guy might be more useful as a source of an arm. He already has a shoulder pad-like structure and the blade shouldn't be too difficult to remove.

Now, don't get me wrong, I know that this looks bad. It's just a quick try and it maybe has potential. If anyone fancies cleaning it up and improving it, please be my guest because I know that I would spend hours on it but not get it much better:

I'll have a lot of time on my hands this weekend to get a lot done. I've created a schedule on all that I'll be doing and so I've set time up for this too.

I've had a p.m. from gerolf explainaing that, due to reasons beyond his control, he won't be able to post any sprites for the forseeable future. I'd like to thank him for trying but it also means that, if someone else fancies having a go, I'd be delighted to see what they can do.

Otherwise, I'll try and work on my "karate chop" frames a little when I get a chance.

Looks good - I kinda want his 'regular' death animation to just say sideways instead of him falling 'backwards' tho - and for both deaths, an explosion could send some metallic gibs flying!

For the fist attack, notice how the Sabreclaw changes his footing slightly; also, blue lightning would work WONDERS here. :D

The death anaimations are just the original ones that came with Mars 3D. I don't think that I touched them at all. That doesn't mean that they shouldn't be done of course.

As for the foot, you're right. That's exactly the kind of thing that needs to be done. It's also the kind of reason that I was asking for help. I can graft an arm onto a static sprite and, after a little bit of reworking, perhaps even get it to look like it is meant to be there. However, getting a nice, natural, fluid action, including how the rest of the body might move subtly seems to be beyond me.
