Ah, why thank you, Mr. Cutty. Now I don't have to go searching for that myself. heh... The possibilities are now endless... Kinda... heh heh heh... MUA HA HA HA HA!!!

*runs off to add SNES music to every level made*

Edit: Wow, that's gotta be the most unfair monster creation ever. And then it crashed most unexpectedly. I guess the sheer amount of pwnage it was throwing at me killed Susan as well. Meh.

Because some timing/note information is lost, and thus, the resulting IT files have to run super fast with notes spaced far apart to avoid quantisation (kind of like MIDI to IT).

Bottom line: It just doesn't sound as good as the original SPC.

Plus SPCs loop uber well, and are already made, so you don't need to do any converting or anything. To convert a perfectly fine file into something else that might not be as fine and then add it into a wad is kinda... Well... Pointless. And too much work.

Your right, winamp doesn't show that, but actually most SPC's don't have their ID666 tags set properly, and thus winamp reads the song length as the default 3:00 minutes, even though the song may loop a couple of times before that.
