There's quite a bit more than the hands that are deformed. Knowing Leilei though, it will only be a matter of time before an almost perfect screenshot of the same model materialises.

leileilol has there been any kind of release of your Quake source port? A lightweight, reliable, simple Quake source port with some basic but useful features like HUD scaling and reading music from .pk3 files or external folders instead of CD appeals to me.

Use Darkplaces or DirectQ if you want music and hud scaling. I don't have ogg music support working (not until DUMB is fully integrated and working for Windows and DOS builds, wish I had help on that)

There is a rather outdated Dec 2010 release that is not very Windows 7 friendly. The only reason i'm not releasing the current revision now is because I have not figured out what causes the waterwarp crash yet. That's the only big bug that's holding me back. I take stability very seriously and I try my best to run a VC6 debugger in Win7 (which is quite buggy to use)

Other currently developed software engines are Makaqu and qbismSuper8. The latter has a different colored lighting implementation that looks completely different, while the former also has a different implementation of hud scaling. Both screw with mouse acceleration (ew) and crash like crazy.


As for "nipples" i've believe I already addressed this before : she has them, they're just very tucked causing extreme animu muffintop style cleavage. Bengus has been a strong influence (see Morrigan, Rose).

The point of the picture wasn't about the character, but the fact I miraculously figured out how to get a player model working. I used that model because it was comfortably low poly (1500ish) and it is a original work (to like, avoid "oh your making a darkstalkers game thats alleegal" assumptions). A shitton of trial and error, looking at source code, error messages, had to be done until I even saw a single triangle of my own in-game.

Oddly appropriately, a screenshot of a lightsaber is in page 1138.
