  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

hmm, yeah, this monster has already been approved on R667, I dont want to cause confusion by releasing a new version so soon, if anyone wants to use this or edit it feel free, just give me credit :P
Just tell them it was Enjay's idea to make these changes, and I promise you they won't change their mind. :P

Okay, kidding aside, if you don't want to edit the monster any further, then it's fine. It's your monster, after all, and you shouldn't be forced to do so by anyone.

I guess I envisioned him being used sparingly, as an "imp sergeant" type monster :)

Please excuse my noobishness, but how would I go about exporting the sprites to bmp/png whatever? I want to use the art from this enemy in a Duke Nukem 3D mod (with credit, of course). I tried using xwe, but I got an error message for this wad.

It has gone very well, thanks :D

The mod in question is War of Attrition, for which I just released a big update, available at my Fissile Materials site. Your Cyber Imp sprites are used for a new enemy which randomly replaces some of lizard troopers. There are palette swaps and different types of projectiles it can fire, and it's pretty cool.
