If Doom turns 19 today, and the release of Doom 4 is still TBA, does this mean...Doom 4 will be released on Doom's 20th Birthday?

Makes sense to me.

To be honest, I don't know if I want a DooM 4. I'm afraid they might destroy the franchise with it. Then again it might soar with EA having their back.

I think that Doom & Doom II are different enough and separated by enough time, style, gaming trends etc that a modern game with "Doom" on the title screen will have little impact on the perception of the original game. It certainly won't sully the game for someone like me. I mean, Doom survived Doom 3 and I'd be surprised if Doom 4 will be any worse than Doom 3.Liberator wrote:To be honest, I don't know if I want a DooM 4. RAGE was a step in the right direction in my humble opinion, so I am almost sure doom 4 is going to be leaps and bounds better than 3.
