Seeing those batshit insane Blazkowicz sprites and your remark makes a good explanation why I don't like kids.

And very nice he is too. I really like how you improved the face/mask. You're right about the firing rotations. I definitely did them and they're pretty awful.

Eh, I couldn't do any better. TBH there's a few things about him that I don't quite like. You can tell, for instance, that I just recolored his skin black instead of giving his face a complete redesign, but there was only so much scratch-spriting I was willing (and able) to do with him. Maybe I'm being nitpicky, I dunno..

I think you're talking yourself down too much. Why scratch sprite when you don't need to? The effect of the blackened face, the respirator bits and pieces and the green eye NVG effect all come together to make this really work well IMO.

Image Did this today.

Now that I have all the leg angles I need, finishing the rest should be faster.

Is it just me or does one of it's front legs disappear in the firing frames? Other than that it's looking amazing Eriance. :D

I think the front leg furthest from the camera is just being obscured by the front leg that's closest to the camera.

It looks good and all, but Eriance, after Xaser pointed it out in IRC, I can't unsee that the first word in your title is "your" when it should be "you" and it's really starting to bug me :P

That sprite is looking superb Eriance.

If you look really close, you can just see some evidence of it hiding behind the closer leg (darker pixels at the back edge of the near leg). It makes sense. The arachnotron has moved in to a stable firing position and is being viewed from side on. The leg should be (nearly) obscured by the one closer to the viewer.

Looks awesome Eriance!
I think it has been mentioned before, but I think the monster would look much cooler if it had a few more colors. It looks a little uniform to me to be honest... maybe making the legs a greenish-grey?

Anyway, it's a nice set of sprites :)

Oh dear. That's a rather nice revolver.

Suffers from the same problem as most revolver sprites though... The hammer never moves! :?
