Not enough time. If you got only short periods of time to work on it you won't be able to do much, especially things that get a bit more involved...

.. And there's no way you guys will be able to get me to work on it. Way beyond my skill.

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
Dunno, but I just have the feeling you all would have been nagging me to work on this since others aren't.

Well, you have my vote. We need an active developer working on zdoom. Clean out the feature suggestion forum
Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
This is basically the reason why I've never gotten around to making code submissions myself. I don't want it to turn into that.Ryan Cordell wrote:Dunno, but I just have the feeling you all would have been nagging me to work on this since others aren't.

The risk is overestimated I think.

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
This is OT, but I want to say something about the actual devs situation:
Begin opinion
I think it's ok if the wannabe dev 1) knows everything about the code (maybe the renderer code is an exception, else Graf should've been kicked already
), not only some disconnected pieces, 2) respect the style used by the actual devs.
Also he should know a lot about linux coding and debugging (in particular SDL coding), because I think that piece of code can be enhanced a lot.
My personal (and hopeless) wish is that someone cares about 1) the 3dfloor code redesign, 2) the doomscript branch (it's sufficient if the changes in the trunk should be merged).
End opinion
Also, I'd ask to separate these latest messages in a new thread, or to merge it in another related thread, if it exists.

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
No, that's elsewhere that's closer to the river. It's gone down some (you can see the railroad tracks on the overpass there, now), but there's still over 10 feet of water in that spot.Xtyfe wrote:is that outside your house? holy hell
Also, the phone lines went out where I'm staying, so we lost DSL, too. I am posting this from work, so probably won't be around much.

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
It has been a while now, so that's why I ask if anything has happened so far concerning this.

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
Has anything happened at all concerning ZDoom development recently?

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
I am not sure, at least I see some bugs and features being fixed or added from time to time so I had hope

Re: Widescreen behaviour of INTERPIC graphic
Sorry for pushing this, but as development seems to progress again lately I just wanted to ask whats the status about this.
