FOILINVUL Harms Invulnerable Players?

Is the FOILINVUL flag supposed to allow projectiles to harm invulnerable players?

The wiki says it won't. :?

If it doesn't harm invulnerable players, then it's a bug, I would think.

Invulnerable how? Invulnerability powerup, +Invulnerable flag or God cheat?

No, it won't, and no, this is not a bug. And no, there won't be any override for a player's invulnerability.

The reason for this flag is so that a projectile can affect a temporarily invulnerable monster.

From what I understand, the FOILINVUL flag is supposed to make a projectile harm invulnerable monsters, but not players under the effects of an invulnerability power-up of god mode.
I'm not sure how the flag would behave if the player was invulnerable because of the INVULNERABLE flag being dynamically set and unset by a weapon.

I was playing my mod to test ho FOILINVUL would behave upon a player with the INVULNERABLE flag. I used an invulnerability powerup in the meantime, and a ripping projectile with this flag managed to kill me anyway. :?

I'll post relevant code if necessary.
