X-Com sprites. Contains numerous aliens; some require assembly but, from fiddling with it yesterday, it seems like it would be fairly easy to assemble. The grey alien is in the folder 'sectoid'. I've included all the GFX from the game in this zip as it is quite small. The tileset gfx are useless in zDoom but could be used as reference if someone were to do an x-com TC.

X-com 2: terror from the deep, uses the exact same engine and the data is stored in the same way. I'll throw that stuff up later.

You know I have 3 grey aliens with full sprite rotations....I just can't let them out yet. :(
If one becomes deprecated, I would consider lending it out.

the only alien sprites I have are these, from some dead end mod I worked on when I was 15ish.

It's a green alien, and probably too cartoony for you, though.

Did you check out Neodoom's?

Also, CyClones has a green alien that could do very well.

I'd imagine that Eriance's sprites be useful for a base for a more "normal"-styled one, but the death frames look a little silly and would probably require some redrawing.

Pretty neat, but it doesn't fit in with any other style of enemy I am aware of.
