When I play Hexen in lowres under ZDoom, the GATE03 texture would appear non-transparent, having black squares where there should be transparent parts. It would look OK when using highres replacements. Example is shown in attachment. As far as I could check, only this specific texture is affected (GATE02/04 maybe too, but I couldn't keep them apart ingame).
My system specs:
Win7 Ultimate (32bit)
Intel Core i7 920 (2.67 GHz), 3GB RAM
nvidia GF9800 GT (512MB), nvidia ForceWare v260.99

There is something else odd in that picture - gate03 isn't that tall. So, unless it is on 2 lines very close to each other and I just can't see it, the texture has been altered:

Well, the pic has been taken in the HexenDK addon's 2nd secret level, "Armory". Another one is "Sump" (HexenDK Hub1), I think. It can also be found in the original game in Hub4 central map "Castle of Grief". I am not sure whether it is that texture or not, but maybe someone can determine it with an editor.

Armory works fine for me, both with software and GL renderer. BTW, it uses GATE02, not GATE03.

Yup, fine for me too. I'm using a different graphics card ( 285 GTX ) but the same driver version.

Maybe I have to use a different setup in the nvidia control panel. Will check it out.
