I stumbled upon Manic Digger. I'll give it a shot later, but I know one reason I'm still gonna play Minecraft- I know people on other OS'es.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Fuck you Cali.
(jk, we're still pals
)
I only want my mods up on idgames for the sake of long-term preservation. The reviews are there solely for ego-stroking or trolling, like most anything with a review/comment section. Besides that, I store all my mods in my Mediafire anyway in case idgames is down or something. It's just wise to keep multiple copies of your stuff in the cloud, I guess.
That, and on the off chance Hell Worm gets rejected due to it's size (though it's actually not terribly large since I cut back on it's unnecessary resources) I can still upload it somewhere.

@Ceeb: You would!
(Glad you know I'm just poking fun
)
Anywho, just updated the ZD-RPG rules, hopefully making them a little more flexible and fair. If you haven't been over there in a day or so, please check them out and comment, especially if you're interested in playing.

Yeah well...Caligari_87 wrote:@Ceeb: You would!
So I'm thinking of opening a new project thread for Resource but I'm not sure it would be worth the time. To that end, would any of you peeps like to test for me? It's a GZDoom project and is extremely small to distribute.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I already have that tiny one you sent me. I actually played through it about a week ago, and I did enjoy what little there was.
Anyway, I just got back from outdoor activity -- hitting walnuts with a baseball bat across the road and into the lake while listening to my sister talk about how she couldn't say "head lice" without rolling R's on the D. Then she noted that she couldn't say the spanish word "perro" properly, so I told her to say "perdlo" and she got it.

Playing Quake Wars atm. my sniping is more suppressive fire than sniping... but im still on the board for being the best sniper in the limited amount of matches ive been in, so ill stick with whats working for me.

In FPSes, I have two relatively successful strategies: Stealth + sniping (the most common), and Rocket Rampage mode.hnsolo77 wrote:but im still on the board for being the best sniper in the limited amount of matches ive been in, so ill stick with whats working for me.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
rockets have weight so for long long range... not so good.
but it was funny when it fell halfway to my target and teamkilled 3 of my teams bots... dumbasses...
though yesterday some asshole was gloating because he was on the board more than anyone else in the match, and my team consisted of me, who just bought the fucking game, and some half decent dude and a bunch of bots.
pointed out that taking out bots is nothing to gloat over, since i took out about 50 of em myself. in the next match, i did kill him and proceeded to teabag him... he did not like that too much

I'm trying to find a way to play custom music that have spaces in their names (ex: Altar of Pain) from the ZDoom console. I can't seem to find a way around that.

I take it quotes don't work? Or "ALTAR OF"/"ALTAROFP"? IIRC lump names are internally only the first 8 characters.Unknown_Assassin wrote:I'm trying to find a way to play custom music that have spaces in their names (ex: Altar of Pain) from the ZDoom console. I can't seem to find a way around that.
