Damn shame about those guys. They're the best designed monsters in Hexen, but they're only found in one map late in the game. :(

Hey that looks very good. And I agree that Neoworm's editing looks apropriate.

The chains also make it familiar with the Cacodemon from DOOM 64.

How much work did you have on this monster before the accidental deletion?

Perhaps it could have an alternative chained initial frame to use only on some scenarios. So you could encounter the monster just floating around ready to attack on some rooms, or in other rooms, chained and breaking the chains when it see you. Kinda like the Reyvers from Hexen that have two alternative versions, buried and floating.

It's a Midboss monster, although the chain breaking idea is good.

@Vegeta: I had the movement and the first attack animation finished when I lost the sprite. I lost all my sprite sheets as well, including old Hellion Sheets. However, since the other monsters are already in my main DE wads, and Hellion is having the characters redesigned, those were not too bad of a lost.

I had an idea some time ago about a monster but since I can't do anything to edit sprites I'll give the idea to you. I don't remember if I suggested this to anyone else but anyways...

A recolored/modified Heretic "weredragon" (also known as Beast) with black skin and red eyes, and maybe he throws flames from his mouth.

Feel free to use the idea if you like it. Anyways, great mod, definitively the best newschool mod out here and my favourite wad along with TVR!.wad

I'm trying not to use recolored monsters for DE, and doing as much of my own designs as possible. Also, no additional monsters will be added to DE other than what I have from my list. I feel having some 60+ monsters of my own is plenty for DE.

EDIT: Here's the fixed up version of the Heirophant. Since the colors on this seems to work well, I shall color the remaining bases using the same color and brightness.

I'm just being picky here, but it's right hand only looks like it has 3 same-y claws, compared to the more correct left hand which has 3 claws, yet one being the thumb. :P

Finally had some free time outside school and work to get cracking on the Hierophant.

1 rotation down, 10 more to go. And then death frames and projectiles. D:
