Unless I missed something, I "like" how people seem to be jumping to conclusions that Mario123311 is going to resort to piracy to get the iwads just because he mention wanting to get the doom.wad file. It's like people are guilty by default these days and it doesn't help with replies like "I hope you actually plan on paying for this through Steam or something". Really, did he asked "where can I download Doom for free?" or something?

Well, unless I'm wrong and he did in fact directly asked just that.

And I'm going to pretend you're Mario for this exercise, so I can say it.

Even if the game is going on to be legal to drive in some states, id Software continues to deserve to get money for each copy of Doom they sell. Even if it is an ancient effort they still deserve it all the same because it has stood the test of time.

The reason it was deleted moved to the Garbage Bin is because there was no value in the thread whatsoever, and the only reasons people would even want to go into that thread are either for "shits and giggles", or to quote Mario123311 and just continue bashing away.
